FAQs

Questions we’re often asked by financial advisers:

 

Do you provide leads to clients?

No. Each of our advisers is growing and running their own business. 


Am I restricted as to which providers to use?

No. As long as your advice is suitable, you are qualified to give it and it meets the clients’ needs, you are able to use the whole of market.


What software do you use?

We provide licences for:

Do you provide a para-planning service?

The short answer is no. Our experience has shown that centralised para-planning tends to be a false economy, where advisers spend time briefing someone who has never met the end client. It often leads to them having to re-write reports to make them fit their own business and their client.

We would prefer to free you from the chains of unnecessary paperwork, so that you have time to properly provide your clients with individual, tailored advice each time.


What do you do differently to a normal network/support provider?

This is a big question, but some examples are:

  • We put the adviser and their clients first.

  • Incomes are matched daily.

  • Files are checked within 48 hours.

  • Our Directors and support are available at all times (during office hours) for you to contact directly for help and advice.


Can I trade under my existing brand or business name?

Yes, of course. Your branding can remain as it is now. You will become a trading style of Keystone Financial Ltd, but your business remains intact.


Do my clients remain mine?

Strictly speaking, a client belongs to no one!  But yes, if you decide to leave/retire, your client bank will be novated with you, or to whomever you pass it to, as long as all compliance requirements are met.  We do look to “pass” clients internally where possible if an adviser chooses to hang up his boots, but the choice is yours.  It is your business, you built it up and it belongs to you!
